Just ordered my first Norell 10/22 registered pack. Would like to think about ordering a new transplant receiver/host that wouldn't have compatibility issues or require any fitting/etc. Any ideas would be appreciated on hosts that have been tried/verified without issues. Would love something around 6/8", preferably steel (not CF) barrel, threaded 1/2x28, collapsible/folding stock. I've heard mixed compatibility with Volquartsen, something like an SS? Perhaps I should stick with a Ruger Charger or similar? I do have an enjoy a Volquartsen SS in an Enoch chassis, but I'm not sure of that compatibility/fitting. Any advice is appreciated! |
