Hey y'all. I am looking to add a Nordic cap to my 870 14" 12ga and was wondering which parts would be required. I understand that I'll need the coupler and then will I just need a cap or a +1 and a cap or ? I attempted to call Brownell's 5 times today and kept getting disconnected after waiting on hold for a few minutes and Nordic wasn't answering either. (As an older guy, I sure do miss the days of hearing a friendly voice when you called a business seeking help) Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Hey. Yea, I already have a Wilson and I do like it. However, I wanted to have a look at the Nordics due to their design, ergonomics, etc. They appear to be a really good brand and obtaining one at dealer price should make it a bit more tolerable. hahaa Thanks a lot for the input. |

All mine are Nordic. First you need the cap/nut (the part that holds the barrel on. Then you need a tube + 2,3,4,5 or whatever. The third is the end cap. This and the tube are universial. I like this you get rid of a shotgun or buy a new one,you just need the nut +1 are generally one piece. I think there is a couple that are not There are various lengths you can find it on their website. Benneli has there own special lengths on some extensions with a B on the end for the tube. +3B for example to be a bit sohorter or longer to be even with the barrel. Still the same threads and it may work for you in certian cases. I bought one for my 26 inch Stoeger 2000 so it would be even with my extended choke tube. I just had to but a shorter tube for the 18 1/2 inch barrel. Plus I can use the tube on my other shotguns. I can ghost load my Stoeger 2000 and get 13 rounds and I think 8 or 9 on the 18 1/2 inch. Dont forget the length inside the cap nut when fiquing OAL. The have a clamp after +3 or 4 and the tubes have a groove to except it. There you can mount a light with the short rail or a QD sling. You can also use both one on each side They also have a coupler the join 2 tubes if you need a custom length |

It definitely appears to be a very versatile system but the part which rubs me wrong is that a piece of metal for a +1 is the same price as one for a +6. The logic there seems a bit off to me, but I'm no expert in this subject matter. lol. Thanks much for your input. |
