I have a brand new unopened can of this FFg . One issue is I think it’s 10 years old. Investarms instructions says over and over Black powder only. I’m ordering a couple pounds of geox black powder today. This is what I got . Been in an ammo can in basement for at least 10 years. Thanks Wardawg Attached File |

Side lock cap or flint? If a cap, pyrodex will work. Pyrodex was designed for caplock. If flint, it won't. Or, it'll be frustrating and unreliable. Pyrodex has a higher flash point than BP. Sparks off the frizzen struggle to ignite pyrodex. If the manual says don't use pyrodex or BP replacements, then just use BP. |

You can use it . Like everyone says it’s worst cleaning than bp.. Clean the rifle asap it’s worst than no for rust. I still have about 1/2 can left from the 90’s I just shoot bp.. If you get into order a case of bp. It will last you a very long time. You want to go half in in for 25lbs. Drive to Winchester va and pick up 50lbs |
