I just got this last week on a whim. Wasn’t planned but decided to jump on a deal. Anyway, I am starting to look at different parts and accessories and I think I want to go with a telescoping stock option. I have seen the B&T and it’s awesome…but holy shit is it expensive if one can even be found. What other options are there? I scrolled the MP5 Reddit page and see a few but so far have been unable to find manufacturers info. I did also manage to get a 90deg locking piece ordered today. I do plan to run suppressed and FRT it. Anything else a MP5 noob should know? Thanks dudes. Attached File |

Have a PTR 9kt. The KES is built tough and sturdy. I like the B&T also, but I wasn't dropping 600+ on it. I ended up going with a Dead Air Mojave 9 and a rare breed frt. Also a front mlok handguard with grip. Check out HK Parts for different parts for it. They have pretty good prices and pretty much everything you can think of. Nice gun btw |

You should try shouldering the telescoping stocks before buying one. I tried the B&T and didn’t like it. I haven’t tried the KES but I doubt the cheek weld is any better. The B&T folder is nice. It feels like a fixed A2 when deployed. They come in 2 lengths and I have the shorter one. Only downside compared to the old Choate is the increased width when folded, but the Choate is much heavier. Choate just released an MP5K-PDW stock identical to the HK version (with a 2-piece backplate assembly instead of their older cast 1-piece style) so check that out if you want the OG folding stock. |

I have underfolding AKs and a triangle folder on a Krink. I’m pretty familiar with shitty shouldering stocks lol and I’m ok with it. I’m mostly going for a thin compact build. Side folding is not completely off the table, just currently not the vibe I’m going for. If this turns out like some of my other project guns, I’ll end up with a pile of extra parts and accessories that I will cycle on and off the gun over time depending on my vibes at the time lol. |

I'd say RCM but they are OOS. And so is HKPARTs that sells RCM. Strange thing, at least on my mobile, is RCM doesn't show any small parts on their website. I got to the link doing a Google but not from their menu. 90 LP |

They announced them on their Instagram page so you have to keep an eye on their Instagram to get the announcement. | I had the BT telescoping stock and sold it. Picked up the side folder. Much better cheek weld and LOP, but also much more bulky. Came back to the telescoping BT. Also raised my rds for more of a heads up shooting position. For me, its the sweet spot and keeps it as compact as possible. Only way to go IMO. |

Are the single point optic mounts solid? What’s the skinny on the UTG Pro mp5 mounts? Dudes on Reddit recommend them…but isn’t UTG typically low quality? I know the Pro line is supposed to be better…but it’s still UTG. Are B&T tele stocks even still available, or is it a tac swap/gun broker type thing to find them? |

I still associate it with shitty Chinese accessories for shitty commie guns but that's not what they are anymore. |

I think the B&T 5 position is the way to go for an MP5K, but I wouldn't pay retail for one. I got mine brand new for $450. Still expensive, but anything HK adjacent is open your wallet time, regardless.
