I'm sure it was sent from China but I needed the specific OD and wasn't too concerned with the ID. It is a Thompson Machine can but one that they made for Diamondback firearms that DB never took delivery of. TM sold them off cheap and our shop bought several. It's ok for being so small and a monocore if you use some KY or wire pulling gel inside. |

If anyone could find one of the original Shockwave end caps from when they first came out and you cut the barrel and mag tube yourself I would love to either buy it or scan it and have some made, especially in 20ga. I've talked to Shockwave Technologies and they supposedly do not have any left in the place, said they would not produce them again and wouldn't send me the drawings even when I offered to pay for them. The piece originally sold for like $35. My plan was to pick up a Mossberg Maverick pistol grip, pay for the stamp and chop it down; even with the $200 manufacturing stamp I'd still be out less than the PTR and other factory guns. Years ago there were some virgin Stevens 311 receivers that showed up and were pre serial number, and like the moron I am I passed on buying because I didn't feel like collecting the rest of the parts to build it into a functional 12ga something. They were like $75 at the time, IIRC. It probably would have just sat in a box but now it'd be worth building out. |

My SOT/manufacturer is out of Little Rock. When I was buying an integral 22 from him, I asked him what he had that was unique as he knows I like different stuff. He said he had acquired a Ducks Unlimited receiver that have never been a shotgun, and I asked if he could make me an AOW out of it and that’s what we ended up with.
