This morning I sent an email to Commercial Sales Customer Service at KAC, asking if there was any truth to the comments I had read about their bringing out a new Hk MP5SD suppressor. Here is the response I received: Info From: [email protected] To: xxxxxxxxxx Mon, Dec 8 at 12:58 PM Yessir – that is correct. We are still working on marketing materials for some of our new suppressors, so I don’t have much to share on it as of this moment. Like all of our current-production suppressors, it will be printed in Inconel with our Pressure Reduction Technology and has undergone testing to ensure reliable operation of the firearm even with a low back-pressure design. |

HK never intended for the 3 lug to be a suppressor mount, it was for the removable flash hider. It was B&T back in the day who made it a suppressor mount. |

Decible reduciton vs. back pressure. I'd like to see some flow through cans approach traditional non-flow through can Db reduciton. My son has a Hux and it's not bad sounding. |

If Knight's is going to actually do stuff for the consumer market I'd rather they make things people want, like the MK23 silencer. Yes, skilled welders etc... but people would pay $2500 for those. They could at least do a 3D printed version that is evocative of the original design. These cans are ugly, visually LOOK like they are made only for the commercial market, and IMO, cheapen KAC's brand. I can't believe this is a KAC product:  (I'm probably being too harsh but I'm still pissed about the MK23 cans.) |

Apparently there was a super limited run of 25 recently with some old parts they had, but no intention to make it again. Very frustrating. |
