| Benelli on instagram is hinting at a new shotgun to be announced this week. They only show a quick shot of a M4 collapsible stock…. Anyone see this? What do we think Benelli will announce!?? |

All three are 100% Reliable ans Solid Shotguns. While the Panzer's have better fit and finish. They all run great. I would Recommend the Panzer SPEED or SPEED PRO. With the lightened Carrier and ported barrel. As it cycles faster and flatter. The Competition cut loading port is also very nice. Along with the oversized bolt release. I truly believe you would be very happy if you got one. |

 NEW - The Benelli M4 EXT Shotgun | Product Showcase - Palmetto State Armory Beretta has certainly seen sales take off with the 1301 and A300, they are giving the M4 the same treatment, I wouldn’t mind seeing them do the same thing with the M2. While Beretta owns Benelli and both the 1301 and A300 are outstanding shotguns, there are a lot of brand loyalist who really like the M4. Personally I think the M4 lags a bit behind the 1301, I’m happy to see fresh air pushed into the semi auto shotgun market regardless. |

Like the M4 more just because of its history and proven reliability over decades of use. The ergonomics definitely lack a bit compared to the 1301, though. I am surprised we've seen no major militaries switch to the 1301. I know I've read some places they're just restocking M4s, and then the last trial I know of that was to replace a military shotgun was in France and they selected the Benelli Supernova. |

KyGunCo had a blem LE model for $1,250 and didn't require credentials to get it because it was second-hand they said. Got it in hand and it looked brand new. It had an RMA# on the box but the thing looked pristine. |

Benelli like Beretta’s reputation has taken a hit as of late but buying Turkish shotguns is not the answer. In the past 4-5 years I bought three Benelli’s. Two went back. Not a good track record. |

What a fucking il-thought-out piece of crap. Shortening or lengthening the LOP changes the POI as it has the same effect of lowering or raising the rear sight. When I asked a Benelli rep at SHOT about it, he suggested I use a RMR in lieu of the rear sight  I was like

I ordered the older model M4 with 7+1 and the 3 position collapsing stock, then the next day saw the new model SBS version with 5+1 and the 5 position stock and decided to order it too. In a week or three, or however long they take to deliver and the paperwork to clear I'll get a chance to shoot them side by side. |

I picked up a Benelli M4EXT a couple of weeks ago. I got more attention than I would have expected walking through Cabelas with a Benelli box. A buddy and I took it to the range and put 300 rounds of 3" 00 buck through it to break it in. We had to double team it to get through it. Once my shoulder recovered I took it back to the range again and put 30 rounds of slugs, 25 rounds of 2 3/4" 00 buck, and about 25 rounds of various birdshot loads through it. So far it has cycled through everything without issue. It is pretty cold this weekend but I am thinking about going back out and shooting it some more. Everything so far has been lead buckshot, slugs, shot and none of it has really been patterned yet. To date, everything has been function testing. I know that I am keeping it on the paper but I don't have group sizes. I have some flight control buckshot on order and a Cylinder choke tube as well. I thought that changing the stock length would totally mess with the cheek weld but changing back and forth between the longest two and three positions hasn't been as bad as I expected. I have a sling on it, a Primary Arms red dot (it wasn't being used on anything else), and an esstac shotgun card on it. Other than that it is stock. Recoil on the 2 3/4" isn't bad at all. I can see being able to take a shotgun class without any issues. After the first range trip, there was quite a bit of carbon built up the outside of the barrel where the piston are venting. I still don't have all of it off but the scrubbing isn't wearing on the finish at all. I really like the shotgun. I look forward to seeing what the patterns really look like. |
