I have a Saginaw S'G' M1 carbine I bought from the CMP when they had the Bavarian returns. Last weekend, took it out for a spin. Pulled the trigger all I got was a "click". Absolutely no primer strike at all, not even a tiny dent. Ammo was USGI surplus also from the CMP.. Any ideas on what could be the problem? Haven't had time to take it apart yet. |

Originally Posted By Warspite: what is that? It's the GI tool that is pretty much required to disassemble a Carbine bolt ...... unless you have 3 arms If you have a firing pin issue, you'll need this for removal/replacement  M1 Carbine Bolt Disassembly — Step by Step with the Linemount Tool |
| Take the bolt apart and make sure there isn't any debris inside the bolt that would stop the firing pin from its full movement. |
