Since Wright Armory won't put NT7 on previously anodized frames since it requires stripping and the NT7 is thinner than the previous anodizing so tolerances won't work, I need to find an alternative. The entire rest of the handgun has been NT7'ed (not NT7+). Is it possible to 100% match the look on the frame to the rest of the NT7 parts? If so, who do I send this to? |

I’m pretty good at custom color matching, but I’ve never seen NT7 in person. Color is no problem, but contrast shift under lighting is the hard part. Cerakote has very little shift in contrast and that’s what makes some color matching impossible. For example, I can match G$ 40mm green ano exactly…when viewed from a certain lighting angle. Once you change the angle, the 40mm green shifts to a darker contrast of the color while the Cerakote just simply appears more dull. |
