Currently using the M1A™ Scout Squad™ .308 Rifle with this Holosun optic which not only is a circle + dot, but also still allows me to use the iron sights due to the open area. The optic has been great but has run its course and no longer available or else would have bought another. What other optic meets this criteria? There are a number of raised optics but there is no opening to allow the use of the iron sights. |

I was trying to trouble shoot this problem the other day and realized I had a good mount in a box of parts. https://danieldefense.com/micro-mount-rock-lockr.html irons are freely visible through the gap. |

This has potential. Only concern is I get locked into a limited number of optics that will work with it. |
