| Reminds me of the designs by now defunct Rebel Silencer. They tried to use aluminum for their rifle designs...not very good material choice. But great for 9mm! |

You can even mix materials. 6AL4V for mount/blast and first baffle, 6061/7075 for remaining. You should be able to pop these out quite complete. Simple threaded/clamping jig to index for clipping. You shouldn't need gasketing. If you're never going to get it real hot, Teflon tape will be fine. You can also slather the threads with a nickel anti-sieze and not worry. Design for the base to index off front of previous. Create a seal there. |
