Also got the Wolf large and small Murom primers. My only bitch is they were slightly inconsistent in diameter and had a corresponding variance in seating feel. None fell out. I think i had one with a missing anvil out of thousands and when you deprime the spent Wolf/Muroms the anvils usually separated and that was rather meaning less of a “failure”. |

Loaded up a few hundred rounds of MK262 Service rifle 77 gr ammo with the. Took out to get up dated chrono data. 1st shot. Dud 2nd round. DUD Well that's not good High primers. Restrikes had no effect Next 20 rounds, flush primers - every one of those shot great. So... sigh Yes good primers, but in my experience high primers in .223 is a non-item in an AR with all brands - except for these. Right now, I'm not going to trust them in competition until I get a lot more of them successfully tested. I made more ammo (not tested) amd this time a lot more attuned to making sure seated flush or better. So we'll see! |
