So aside from using a traditional Sadlak/Springfield optic mount... if someone was to use a sight base off of the stripper clip guide for a rear scope ring and then mount the front ring forward of the bolt - would it put too much stress on the scope itself? |

If it’s a one piece mount then it shouldn’t have any issues. But just using the SCG for rear ring independent of where the front ring is mounted seems to me a recipe for error. I DON’T know how much the receiver flexes, but it’s not zero. |
