All factory; cleaned and lubed. Ran like a top. Zerod with slugs and then ran 1 1/8oz field loads per the break in guidance; they all cycled without issue. LE buckshot and Noble Sport 9 pellet buck also ran without issue. Federal FC, still the gold standard IMO.

I saw a youtube video from Shot Show with one of the Mossberg reps that said the gas port size was smaller on the factory 990 SBS as the pistol grip one has larger gas ports due to not having as firm of support when firing. |
