Buying new? Personally I like the 590S over the A1. Mossberg threw the whole catalog at it. The main difference is the lighter weight barrel that is threaded for chokes plus it uses Hater Tots.  https://www.mossberg.com/590s-51602.html |

I have a 590 Shockwave that I'm looking to trade for 590S Shockwave. Then I'll SBS it.

Defender Tactical makes minishell adapters and lifters for the Mossberg shotguns. It allows the use of minishells and up to 3 inch shells. I use the adapter and follower in a Shockwave that I turned into a sbs. They work as advertised. I use both Federal 4 buck minishells, and 2 3/4 Federal Flitecontrol OO buck in it at the same time. |

This is March 2025 production of the standard model. I don't have any complaints about fit and finish. It's built to shoot, pry and stab as a work tool. Definitely not slick. Think 870 Express. Attached File |

It be like that sometimes. Good thing about a common gun + this economy, odds are in your favor as a bidder. I’ll bookmark like 6 to 12 auctions and if they exceed what I’m willing to pay I drop them off my list. If I don’t find an acceptable candidate then repeat next week. Place your bid immediately prior to the 15 minute mark, and it won’t add 15 minutes to the auction close. Use gun.deals (searching the UPC) as your pricing guide for new.
