Since finding a top rail for the MSAR is pretty much impossible. How difficult would it be to modify an AUG top rail to fit the MSAR? I currently have the 1.5x optic, but would like the ability to put a variable magnification illuminated optic in its place. |

On the AUG, the threads are in the rail and the screws go up through the underside of the receiver to attach into the rail. On the MSAR, the threads are in the receiver, and the screws do down through the rail to attach into the receiver. I don't have the hole spacing handy offhand at the moment, but I do not think that they line up. Would also have to check fitment of the top rails on the receiver- the MSAR and AUG receivers are pretty close, so that *might* be close enough to allow the rail to drop on. I haven't had an MSAR top rail off in quite a while, so I don't recall what the top of the receiver looks like for being flat/raised lug surface, etc. Sven Manticore Arms |

Check messages, THE MSAR guy reached out to you😜 I know for sure I have a talon mount for the MSR I could hook you up with I'm not sure but it's possible that I might have a regular factory rail but like I said I'm not sure I have to check. |
