Any specific questions? You should just fill out the form 1 as normal, your trust name and address goes in box 4B since you are the manufacturer I filled out a bunch of form 1s for sbrs that I don't even have parts for, just trying to future proof myself. Can't do that for factory guns but you can for 80%s/sten tubes/etc. |

You should just fill out the form 1 as normal, your trust name and address goes in box 4B since you are the manufacturer I filled out a bunch of form 1s for sbrs that I don't even have parts for, just trying to future proof myself. Can't do that for factory guns but you can for 80%s/sten tubes/etc. No real, specific questions, maybe 1: is a trust required? Cost of trust? Just nervous as shit about the overall process, as I am a boomer noob. I do NOT want to mess up. If you wish to help do something remotely via DM here, we can. |

Don't be nervous, it's a weird process to get started but once you get into it it's not that bad. Lots of discussion online about Trust vs Individual. Basically Trust creates a legal entity that owns the item, easier to have other authorized users, small upfront cost and a little more paperwork but much easier for passing on/etc. https://www.nationalguntrusts.com/cart $50 here Do that, get your fingerprints printed on a FD-258, ($5 on amazon, free from ATF if you want to wait for them to ship them, might get them from local police for free?) Then mail your fingerprint card to Hansohn Brothers who will turn it into a special digital format for $35 https://hansohnbrothers.com/shop/hansohn-brothers/accessories/eft-conversion-service/ Once you have those digitally you're free to submit form 1s as fast as you can fill them out. ETA: The worst that can happen with form 1s is that you get disapproved, AKA wasted time. With the stamps being free you can just start throwing stuff at the wall and see what sticks.
