Hey everyone, I was looking at maybe ordering a Marlin Trapper 336 in .30-.30 sometime soon. I just wanted to know if there is any guaranteed way of knowing whether they’re Ruger production? Basically, are all the stainless and threaded barrel Trapper 336’s made by Ruger? I see them in stock at a few places, but when I emailed asking if these were the Ruger versions no one seemed to understand the question. I just keep getting responses like “we don’t sell used firearms” etc. Thanks |

Does the sellers website list a SKU or catalog number or a model number like “70504” (not to be confused with the gun design model)? If so, you should be able to verify it on Ruger’s Marlin website https://www.marlinfirearms.com/s/model_336Classic They’re may be some old-new stock “Remlins” out there but most of what you see online will be Ruger manufactured. |
