What types of optics are yall running of your Marlin Camp Carbines? |
| Had a Primary Arms Classic on for a while, then needed to move it to something else so replaced it with a spare Vortex Venom which I had lying around. A Crossfire II would probably work better though. |

I had a ‘90s vintage Tasco tube sight on my Camp 45. Because that’s what was available in the ‘90s if you didn’t want to pay for an Aimpoint tube sight. Realistically, it worked great and did what I needed it to do. I suspect just about any of the hundreds of options out there today would do just fine for you. Pick one with the features you like and the dot size or reticle you like. With the amount of drop a .45 has, it’s not like you’re going to be shooting at extended distances with it. |

I can't stop buying these things! Lol. Just bought my 3rd (all in 45ACP). Also popular with the wife and kids, so the plan is to have one for each of us. If I see a decent one ~$1k range, I give them a close look. Bumping this to the top for the following question: I had a tec sights style rail (I don't think it was tec sights, but I forget what kind it is). Is there anything "new" in the aftermarket for these, top rail or sights? I'm not particularly expecting there to be, but just figured I'd ask in case someone came across something interesting. |
