Bought this just before Christmas and got to bring it home last night (stupid Washington waiting period on all guns).

As new in box, except the previous owner installed a Williams peep sight. He said he put them on all of his lever guns and that this was new in box when he got it. Sure seems like it and it includes the manual, test sticker, safety sign and hammer spur.

It won't remain unfired. Oh, I paid $700 plus a crazy $68 transfer fee. But still a great deal!

I bought a Marlin 1894 218 Bee, there was a 25-20 and a 32-20 beside it but I couldn't afford all three. This was in the early 80's.

That was a great deal. I wouldn’t bat an eye at the transfer fee at that price.

The only hyphenated names I like are cartridge names......30-06, 30-40, 38-55 etc.
