| Alright, so my plan is to get a "Mare's Leg" type pistol to SBR. I'd also like it threaded for a suppressor. Now, my choices are either a Heritage Ranch Hand (stainless Octagonal) and have it threaded. The other is to get a Rossi R95 Triple Black which already comes threaded, but has no irons. Sooooo....would it be more cost effective to add irons (rear dovetail, front band) to the one that's already threaded, or get the one with irons threaded? |

What caliber are you after? I did a henry 22lr. Threaded the barrel and shaved a tad off the knurled end of the follower. Henry sells the stocks. If you catch the right little old lady on the phone, she'll mail you the stock for free. |

Henry said they're bringing out X model mares legs this year. I don't care for the rear sight on my .44X rifle but at least they're there and it's also threaded. 🤷 I will probably go down that route eventually; 6+1 rounds of .44 in a compact SBR with a youth stock you could sling across your torso seems like a dandy trail gun. |
