The Magpul AUG p-mag uses gen 3 floor plates and therefore can use gen 3 floor plate accessories. I know there are plenty of magazine couplers and plenty of Magpul magazine couplers. What I'm looking for is one that holds the magazines with projectiles facing opposite directions similar to how the Israelis use on their Tavor and X95. I am not able to find one and my Google fu is strong however there's always a chance that I miss something. Anyone know if there is such a thing? Thanks for the assist. |

The FAB magazine coupler is what the Israelis use for the TAVOR setup. I tried the Magpul mag coupler with two Gen 3 mags. It sort of works but the problem with Magpul coupler it doesn't have a reverse curve built into the coupler. There is going to be a gap where the mag is going to move a bit. I am trying to find where I put my old Forbus mag coupler setup. To double check the setup. |

And I thought the P-Mag setup would work since it is more prominent to find in my area than the FAB mag coupler. It is the P-Mag constant curve body that is causing the gap and the slight wobble in the setup. I am guessing that the 30 aluminum bodies and the Israeli mag coupler allows the difference on the curve transition to grip better than the Magpul. I still trying to find that Fobus mag coupler in my safe. |
