I don't know the actual height.... But I only know this because I used to have a HMMWV (1988 M998)...mine was a soft top / doors setup, so no turret. Apparently those that had the turret / hard top had a gunner's platform that went up and down. See attached from the TM 9-2320-280-10 - google HMMWV Operator's Manual using those numbers, you'll find downloads for it and the Technical Manual (same numbers or similar). So much stuff!
