Nice. I could have bought one for $3500 30 years ago.

But $3500 was alot of money back then.

Added an Max-11SK to the collection. I'll use the original bolt. I'm still debating the sight/optic situation.

Stamps just came back for my JMB SW76 (Stemple tube based clone of the S&W 76) and the silencer that goes with it.  Hopefully picking it up tomorrow from the FFL (kitchen table guy with flexible hours).  Had it drilled and tapped for a rail I got from BRP while I was waiting.

As it arrived:

Beauty...

Saw this today from Vickers MG Collectors Association.  At the start of the Ukraine War there were some efforts at making PKM belts by 3D printing.  These guys are working on a Vickers version.

I'm debating which optic for my new Max-11SK. I need to look harder at the Meprolight.

I know those were training rounds but seeing them made me think of the live rounds in the polymer cases.  I tested those and they weren't reliable in my 53.  Figured the .308 would be similar to the .223.  They fired but the backpressure seemed to deform the case to the point that it caused problems with extraction and feeding of subsequent rounds.   I had tested them a few years back so it's possible that the case designs have improved.

Didn't mean to clog up the MG image thread - feel free to delete.

Yep, but Mac’s are about the cheapest machine Guns around It’s sometimes easier to spend 10K on a Mac versus that 10k only getting 1/3 of a M-16

Macs are up and M16s are down in price as of the last year. You could trade two M11s plus that max11/15 upper for a non-colt M16. But hey you do you. can’t go wrong with a small armory or M11s haha.

Transferable ER Maples M2HB the day the stamp cleared.  It was an intrastate private sale, individual to individual.  This is the last NFA firearm I transferred as a SOT.  I knew its history well.  The internals, ammo, spare barrels, and linker were given to me earlier to help with storage.
