Looks like Gearhead works is out of them too... I would suggest calling Steyr USA to see if they can sell you one (along with the spring if you don't have one of those). They have a lot of bits that aren't on the webstore, and if you ask nicely my guess is they may sell you one. Sven Manticore ARms |

I think everyone thought you were looking for the crossbolt piece that holds the stock to the receiver, and didn't realize you were looking for the pin that holds the buttplate on the stock. I will confirm tonight, and it has been a long time since I goofed about with swapping parts, but 97% sure a standard Steyr AUG pin will work on the MSAR. Sven Manticore Arms |

| The AUG rear stock/sling swivel pin will work on the MSAR stg556. But it will not fully stay in the stock like the MSAR pin. Due to the grooves in the AUG pin not being the same, it does lock into the stock but when you pull on the sling swivel, the pin will move a bit outward and not seat flush against the stock. I’ll have to pull mine out of the safe but think I just shimmed the gap with a washer. |
