What suppressors are you guys using that fit under the handguard that give it as close to MP5SD (factory/original) look? I shot my friend's MP5 a few days ago that had a super safety installed, and I am HOOKED. I dumped an entire mag into a 6 in plate at 15 yards. Muzzle didnt move AT ALL. So now I need one, but I want to go the SD look. Just trying to figure out what direct thread suppressor is going to give the best look or closest to factory look without sending the entire gun off to be converted. |

The MP5 platform is designed to run on hot 124s, but I've had luck with 115, 124, and 147. I buy what's cheap and easy, which is usually 115s. |

PERFECT! I think I am going to get the Century AP5-SD and pair it with the YHM R9 to give it as close to the orginial look as possible. I am a big YHM fan and already have a few of their cans. Then I'm taking off the brace and throwing on the fixed stock. Just need to wait on a drop in FRT that keeps the HK style safety. |

| I got mine back the other day. It won't run with the AS Designs lower. It's loud and only runs in semi, but seems really weak. Runs fine with the stock setup, but I'm still getting a lot of port noise. I've got different locking pieces coming to try and tune it. |

I did the full conversion with HK Ralph Jr so it isn’t apples to apples, but my old Silencerco Octane 45 HD on the Broad River Tactical hub adapter looks almost perfect. So using it or a similar can on a tri-lug would probably scratch the itch. ETA - this is actually the Octane on a tri-lug before I did the full conversion and SBR’ed it, forgot I posted it elsewhere. Attached File Post conversion with the same can on the BRT adapter. It runs pretty well, but they aren’t joking when they say the MP5SD is a filthy girl.  Attached File |

I run mine with a legacy tirant 9 on the triad 3-lug, stupid quiet and light weight - never shot anything other than 147 grain through it Biggest aha for me, was putting / rock setting a smooth thread cap on the OEM Barrel to reduce wobble on the 3 lug |
