| No one really knows, as I bet no one has done it. You can order an 11.5 barrel and swap it easily enough. Looks like you can get the barrels for about 760 from optics planet. |

I'm Guessing he's asking because they are $760  Unless you can recoup a bunch with that 16" barrel that's steep but that's just a fact of life with the MCX.

Between them already being a little overgassed and things like the mcx omega valve I doubt you’ll have much of a problem. Worst case you have to slightly open the gas port but I seriously doubt you’d have to. Let me know who you use, I’ve got two barrels I’d like to cut down but after Morgan at class 3 died I haven’t known who to use for more unique barrel chops. Best case it’s the same, better best case is you end up with a suppressed and normal setting instead of normal and adverse
