a buddy gave me a WMI M2 bipod out of a box of parts he had lying around but I’m struggling to mount it up. I go to the internet so look at pics and see what I’m doing wrong, but that’s when I realize mine looks different. it’s all marked correctly but the part that clamps around the gas cylinder is different. what am I looking at here? see my pic vs a stock pic from the Internet  |

| Is the welding on it steel colored or brass/bronze colored? Real USGI bipods were not welded using steel, they brazed them using brass/bronze. That looks aftermarket/chinese quality. |
