| I have a 1996 or so M1A probably has had a thousand rounds through it. It has a Smith mount & a Shepherd Variable power scope on it. It comes with gi issue tools, about 15 or more magazines, and possibly 1000 rounds of Radway Green ammo in an unopened case. I have never shot any of the Radway green through it as I had plenty of other ammo. Any idea what this is worth? |

Cheapest I’ve seen in the last couple years is around .67 |

Probably better to split it. $3.5k is an accurate price for a M1A Match or Supermatch from that era, so it really depends on the model. |

An M1A built in that time frame will still have all GI parts. Makes it a little more desirable. Also depends on the reciever. What make is it? GI mags are going for $40-$50 now. Especially if yours are as in good condition as you say. Say around $600-$700 in mags. |
I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

IMO the Shepard scope is of no value. Try to sell it separately if you can get anyone interested. I own two M1-A Super Match rifles from the mid-1980's, both were rebuilt by Champion's Choice around 2003 and each of them have less than 100 rounds through them since the rebuild. I can't use iron sights anymore. One was a factory Super Match 33,XXX, the 28,XXX rifle was originally a standard M1-A, I had Glen Nelson rebuild it using a Hart barrel. I competed for over fifteen years using these rifles. My best score was a 489/500. I can't remember the x count. A match grade M1-A is a fantastic rifle. Shooting M852 or M118LR ammo will impress anyone with good eyesight. |
