Rpb double stamp is reliable with basically any 380 ball.

Ditto. I have an M10/45, and am very happy with the GemTech Viper. They make a model for 9mm also. Nice thing about the Viper is it has a locking collar so it doesn't accidentally come unscrewed.

Won't matter, you'll want a Lage upper, and you'll be ok 1/2x28 or toss a 3lug on it. The Lage 11k is the way in my opinion. I just ordered the new style grips, excited about that and the sear trip. I don't think he had one of those when I did the internals. So now all Lage other than the upper pin and receiver, and I guess the extended mag release. He needs to do one of those.

+1 M11 with Lage upper is a great combination. Use good mags (such as the Shockwave ZMags) and it becomes very reliable. I'd also recommend upgrading to a Lage hardened sear.

Lage has been a game changer for the Mac platform for sure. .22lr, 5.56 and numerous 9mm options. Hoping for a 7.62x39 option soon.

For 7.62x39 buy a max 15 and swap the barrel and bolt. It's been done. Seems to run fine.

The Lage uppers are a definite game changer for the platform. Shockwave Zmags are a must-have as well. Get them while can.
So far (with the Lage uppers), approx 800 rounds and 100% reliable, no malfunctions with either upper.
