I have 3x Mac 11’s and all 3 have the paddle mag release. 2 were plug n play and the 3rd required a little filing on the top of the paddle lever. All work 100%. Pretty sure I got mine from practicalsoultions.com Attached File |

| I have one of those. Great idea, but frustrating execution. I keep hitting the release unintentionally and frequently drop the mag while shooting. It is almost too "convenient" in its placement. Thumb naturally wants to go in the area it is placed. Others that shot theirs at the range I go to have had the same issue. Maybe we are all retarded, all but one have removed the Lage mag release. It is a super cool idea though. |

I've had both the Lage and have the paddle installed now. What i'd love to see is the Lage with a guard around the lever, just some built up/bump out to prevent hitting it without intention. I have noticed with the paddle, if my palm slips down my wrist can hit it and release. But I shoot really "tight" for want of a better term,gun up close, arm tucked under and inline with grip (think the exact opposite of chicken wing), so the edge of my wrist can kind of roll and hit the extended paddle. Always meant to shave some of it off the side to make it thinner but not big enough deal for me to remember until it happens again and I plan on it and then forget and get busy. I think I have a practical solutions one, but it has been over a decade! |

I simply ground off the right side of the paddle (I am right handed) and the problem totally went away. Still plenty big enough for rapid reloads. |

I've not ever had this issue--are you large mitted? Of course, I never really use the guns magwell anymore with the current Lage uppers available. |
