I'm not a fan of wd40 for anything... I've been using Slick 50, 1 Lube on pellets and moving parts for going on 25 years. |

The compression chamber, transfer port, and air cylinder should never be lubricated. It is supposed to be used to tranquilize animals. It came with it's own oil. Check your mfg and see what they have. ETA: I remember my manger when I worked in the gun dept at Oshman's tell me that if the wrong oil was used in a piston air gun it would compress and ignite like diesel. I don't know if that is true or not. |
