| Im wanting to start shooting my AR10 long distance. Im wanting to buy a quality 18", 6.5 creedmoor, heavy-profile/target/bull, barrel that is ready to install and needs no additional machine work. What manufacturers or online businesses sell them? Thanks |

Be sure to get rifle length gas on an 18”. Especially if suppressing. For 20-22” a rifle+2” and rifle+4” for 24” I reccomend nitride too - easy cleaning Criterion even sells headspaced bolts: https://criterionbarrels.com/products/ar-platform/large-frame-ar/dpms-pattern-hybrid-6-5-creedmoor-ar-barrel-nitride/?v=0b3b97fa6688 I have a criterion barrel on my 6.5CM. Turned by Craddock Precision; rifle+2” gas length, melonited and headspaced to an RCA HP+ bolt… it shoots lights f’ing out. Don’t sweat the differences between a DPMS or Armalite spec on an AR barrel – just have to use the corresponding DPMS or Armalite gas tube length and be sure the headspace matches. |
Faxon can be a crapshoot, but the 20" 6.5 barrel I had would deliver .75" ten round groups all day long (or until I got distracted  ). A quality nitride barrel is the way to go as there are very few chrome-lined barrels that will shoot that well. |

Ehh… just get a stainless or chromoly barrel, break it in, clean the snot out of it, and sent to any number of nitride/melonite finishers. I’ve done it to a few barrels, the Craddock barrel mentioned upthread included. In fact, Craddock handled the nitride for me after break in - I just mailed it back to them. |
