Well let’s see them. Mines a .308 sawtooth, 2.5-20NF, Nightforce mount, blk-lbl rail/bipod, trash panda, MDT CF grip, rando CF bolt knob, custom CF cheek rest and a backfire recoil pad.

Attached File My Cross isn't super tricked out. I'm treating it as a bolt action T/C Encore to mess with cartridges but have a repeater. It's been pretty easy and relatively cheap to get barrels made. I added a Strike Industries handguard and modified it so I can swap barrels without removing optics. Have 6CM and 338 Federal right now. |

If you read the info for the Strike handguard, it seems to imply that its made to make changing barrels possible without removing the optics. But in reality, there isn't enough room to turn the barrel nut much, maybe with a custom wrench you could. The Strike at least keeps the optic rail on the gun with the handguard off. I cleared a bunch of room, and now I can turn the nut. It doesn't seem to have weakened the assembly in any significant way. I'm not sure if something similar could be done with the stock handguard, but I seriously doubt it. The Cross and Fix are almost identical in the way the top rail attaches, and it really has to come off on both. The gun was originally a used 6.5cm. I pulled the barrel extension off that barrel, and put it on the 338 Federal that Shaw made for me. The Shaw was to my spec, only $345 and took only about a month, way less than a T/C these days. I borrowed a friend's 308 gauges to set up the barrel, I gave him my 8.6blk gauges so it was a fair deal. The 6cm is a drop in Proof that I got for cheap off eBay. I guess I'm limited in experimenting to short action cartridges with a .473 bolt face, but that leaves a ton of good stuff. I've been loading .277 Fury hybrid brass for 6cm and 338fed, off the assumption that the Cross was built for the pressures that cartridge is capable of. I'd like to try 260ai and 277 Fury possibly as well in this gun. I have a 260ai in a Savage and its awesome, amazingly similar to 277 Fury in appearance. |

They just are alot for something that would be a toy. But I like the idea of a switch barrel gun to mess with as I was huge into the T/C Encore for a while. What made me get a CVA scout. Might have to look for a used one some day. But I really like the looks of the STX. The strike handguard isn't my favorite, so hopefully someone else comes out with one as well. Alot of their stuff comes across as mall ninja~ish, but it looks way better then the Odin one. |

Both barrels were good shooters and now I have another new .308 factory barrel that I'd like to try, but can't find a barrel extension for sale anywhere and don't really want to break down the 6.5 barrel assembly to swap in the .308. I do think If the SBR engraving requirement removal gets finalized I may go ahead and SBR my Cross and get that .308 barrel cut to ~12".         |
