If I just relaxed and let the rifle recoil into my shoulder, the groups were shit (ish, it was still combat-capable). If I muscled it into my shoulder and load the bipod fairly heavily it would tighten up the groups.

Of course I couldn't leave well enough alone and have gone through 4 or 5 optic swaps since then. And still haven't re-zeroed it.

Never had the opportunity to push my Mod 0 past 1k. You did a good job. Your handload on the 175 SMK is 30fps faster than mine as well. My Obermeyer barrel is a bit slower than the norm, but it's consistent. Would love a place to shoot like that.

Subscribed for more. I’m with you on the paper vs practical accuracy. My M110 does 1-1.25” with 175gr Federal GMM at 100 yards but is solid down range on steel. My MK11 mod 2 is quite a bit tighter shooting on paper with the Obermeyer barrel. |

It’s a LaRue stomp that had some kind of knights knightvision adapter. Haven’t been able to find much info on it. And yep mk11 barrel |
