I really should pull them apart and clean them. I have in fact cleaned and lubricated the Z-S mags. It did not solve the occasional stuck follower or difficult loading problems. I also didn’t suggest one could use Suomi double feed mags in a MAX-31. I haven’t shopped for them recently, but I last bought Suomi stick mags for about $20 each from APEX. $24 from What a Country is still cheap and available. |

Attached File As someone who has an m11/9 and a bunch of these uppers, I still love the original config in the upper left the most. It's totally unusable, but having grown up in the 80's it'll always be my favorite to look at over the modern stuff. Although I have one of these new uppers on order, it makes me sad that it makes the gun so long. |

I think I have seven total uppers for my Mac’s but I’m also excited about this new upper as well. |

| I literally kick myself for not knowing/finding out about the Lage uppers!! I bought my M11/9 back in 1996 for $650, just out of college…I had an SMG!!!! Whoooo! Had fun with it for a bit then other hobbies came calling so it sat. Safe queen. Never read much up on what others were doing. Have always been into guns, carry everyday but “forgot” about full auto. Now I’m diving back in!! FUN!! |

Had a lot of fun with them, but sold it all to change careers. Have slowly built it back up, With three Mac 11/9s and soon to be eight uppers. I Am still wanting an upper in 7.62x39. |

There are no single feed suomi sticks. Only coffins and drums are single feed. There are single feed suomi compatible such as the shockwave. |

I'll try and explain more clearly: I am using the Shockwave-S mags in my 31k upper because regular Suomi stick mags are not an option. Once they are an option (with the Lage VERSA upper) I will no longer use said Shockwave-S mags. If I want to use the 31k upper I will use drums and coffins. If I have a need to use sticks, I will use the VERSA upper. I did not suggest that one could use Suomi stick mags in a MAX-31 upper, but I can see how that might not have been completely clear. I have always wondered why the MAX-31 uppers were not set up to use the Suomi stick mags along with the drums and coffins. Clearly actual Suomi SMGs can do it, some versions of the Swedish K can do it, and the BRP-Stemple guns can do it (which I also have, hence the reason I have Suomi sticks). Perhaps there was an engineering reason related to the shape of the MAC receiver? If so, that problem has obviously been solved with the VERSA upper. |

| Both are folding stocks. Both of those are adapters made by Norse- Forge, and no longer in production. One is the factory CZ stock and the other one is the magpul Zuchov stock. There is somebody that is going to be making the CZ stock adapter once again, but has not it released yet. |

Copy that...of course....LOL...well, looks like a nice setup....if / when you hear of them being available please shout out! So - burning question - what optic / sight package for that upper? I've got a Sig Romeo on my MAX 11-15 and I like it, especially the price point. Trying to decide if that's the way to go with mine once I get it...or? I've got Magpul BUIS on it as well, don't think I will do that for the Versa, probably just an optic and leave it at that. |

| I die a little inside every time I see a mac lower that has the original green park with Lage black aluminum upper. I had to get a gen 1 steel max 11 to get that green parked and folded steel look. I wish Lage would make his modern uppers using the original construction methods and green parkerizing. I'm sure doing it in aluminum is much cheaper so I can understand why he made the change. |

| I’m using a Holosun 510 on my 31C. I really like it. I also have one on an FX-9 that I shoot in PCC matches, so I’m going to put one on the Versa-11. They are kind of like a smaller Eotech. Just patiently waiting to get mine. I didn’t get on the list till January 6. |

@grn_zx6r Can you tell me how long your Glock upper is from the take-down pin? Just want to compare it to my 11k Mod 1 upper. I have the Glock Versa on order, but have no idea when I'll see it in person. Trying to decide if I buy more M11 mags to keep the 11k upper for size. Mags are on sale right now!! |

My first Mac was also a Craig Wheatley Sten conversion back in the day when he bought somebody’s Mac collection? and then sold a bunch of Mac’s all at once for just under 1000 bucks each. . Yea, got mine last week. First impressions - I love it. It's well made and looks like typical Lage quality. To get mine to fit my lower, I had to trim a very small piece of aluminum off the rear of the upper. Lage said it was ok, so I removed it and it fit tight! Also, I shot 3 ETS mags one night, all functioned perfect. Next day I shot those same mags and a few other ETS mags and they kept falling out of the magwell. I need to try Magpul and actual Glock mags next. My Magpul drum shows up soon! I have videos of anyone wants to see them.
