Does anyone have an idea of how far forward the feed tray is on the LIMA6 vs an MCR? I would like to cook up an adaptor for the dedicated belt fed lowers that locates the nut sack forward. I have a Black Widow Arms lower I want to prep for these things! |

Something like this. Just playing around while Ribs are cooking. I see a few issues that could come up. Will keep playing with the concept. I am sure someone already has a lower out there in the works, but fun to play anyhow. I think a Hydra solution makes more sense.

I pulled your spec off your site! How about a "Lite" version? Needs Ambi-release/catch, and possibly some support options on the bottom. Wil keep playing with it, who knows! There is some weird areas I want to change on it, but my eyes were hurting from looking at the monitor.

Id most definitely buy a dedicated lower for my lima six pre-order. Im not sure how many other people would be interested but if you get a couple made please let me know. I just modded a black widow lower to fit an hk 416a5 ambi bolt catch. Not my best work with a dremel but now I have ambi capability with an off the shelf / available part. It may be something you could incorporate. Attached File |
