I would think offering a "slant-cut" option for $XX.xx more and cutting the receivers for the small handful of customers that intended to repurpose their slant-cut receivers rather than building up a new dpms pattern lower would make more sense than making all of the L7 receivers slant cut. I've owned several ar10s over the last 15 years and only the 2 Armalite rifles had a slant cut. All the others were DPMS pattern I wouldn't go buy a stripped slant cut receiver for this, I'd either pull an upper off one of the 308s I currently have or buy a $100 stripped lower and build it up for this. |

By choosing DPMS cut, you are favoring the low tier market and handcuffing the ability to sell to the SR25 slant cut market. Why do that? |

We've been playing around with "auto" rifles long enough to know that it's not hard to figure out firing schedules that can be both useful and minimize the cook-off risk. |

I sold my MG3 tripod almost ten years ago since I gave up on finding an available adapter for an AR style rifle. I would just sit and mess with that beautiful piece of enginering. The detail and thought that went into developing that masterpiece is just absolutely incredible. The thought of being able to someday mount a Lima 7 onto one of those and add a modern optic via STANAG mount almost seems too good to be true. PLEASE add some kind of tripod compatibility, even if it can't be for the MG42 type tripods. |

I'm not ready to do a list at this point, I'm really just focused on the R&D. The way we did the L6 with deposits really became difficult to manage, so I really need to think this through before deciding how to proceed. But as with the L6, no money will change hands until beta testing is complete. |

Its an m240 charging handle, and it gets your hand away from where the links come out. On the L6 we use a charging handle that is offset downward, but this one is inline with the carrier. |

Looks like where the receiver meets the extension, but other than that, what are we looking at there? A tripod mounting lug??
