Attached File Attached File So "a friend" just picked up his semi-auto DShK build a few days ago. Sent his kit in 2020 and just now received it from the builder, in 2025! From what I can tell he's a very happy camper. The thing is a beast! |

Beautiful. I've got a 38 rotary feed kit I've had forever, barrel is cut into 3rds unfortunately. Also interested if it's 12.7 or a 50 conversion. Are you able to share who the builder is? I've had hit or miss with folks. The big name people are no problem, but I sent a dp28 kit to a smaller outfit in 2014 and he eventually ghosted me. Still pretty pissed about that. |

Very nice, Dennis always does awesome work. i have a russian outa 80s Afghanistan war and the wood grips and visable markings look like mine. Dennis also did it, but that was 10 years ago. You dont see kits as often and the last batches had drilled or chopped barrels which really sucked. Hardest thing to find are AA mounts at reasonable prices. After that, got to put in a Hilux, then its complete. |

DP28 is kinda interesting to semi auto convert, especially if you want to go striker fired. I rewelded and semi converted a DPM. Runs great. I believe SMG does builds but they are known to take a while. |

There was tons of 12.7russian that was sold for $3 and less over the last few years. A lot went through an auction house on the east coast where a few people were taking turns buying it all up at sub $2/rd. Then there was a literal shipping container load last year in Michigan that was sold at $3/rd. |
