I recently got a KAC Mod 2 upper and I opened it up to clean it and saw that there were some “swirls” or burnishing or something inside where the BCG sits. I attempted to brush it and CLP it but it stayed. Is this something I should be worried about? Is the finish done? Anyone else seen this in their Mod 2? Thanks. Attached File Attached File |

I did try scrubbing it out with a brass brush but the swirls or whatever it’s called stayed. It's not something you can "scrub" out. It's just how the finish was applied. As long as it's smooth, it's fine. Don't overthink it. |
