rifle has no import mark any where , i looked all over above and below the wood line , bore is strong but on the dark side, no pitting , i will clean and oil tomorrow           |

| i do not shoot any of my 88 rifles , but thank you for having my back , it is appreciated just way too many variables to be safe for me , pressures , bullet size in some of the older 8mm is smaller ,just too many things i do not care to take a chance on |

That rifle reminds me of ones behind the doors at my Grandparents Farm and other relatives in East Texas in the 60's. I was too young to get to shoot them and was told they was from the war. Back then, dam near every man had been in WW2 and/or Korea. I know my Uncle fought in the Pacific. No idea what happened to all of them...
