https://www.ar15.com/forums/AR-15/Has-anyone-bought-from-Cryostructure-/123-788404/ I’ve had product on order since last summer. After two shipping notices/tracking numbers and no shipment, I requested a refund by this Friday via charge back. We will see. Edit: Jesus. Just googled “shadow ops Paul Russ”. There’s an angry customer Facebook group, Reddit and Tx gun owners posts, and even newspaper articles. Update: see my post further down. |

There’s an angry customer Facebook group, Reddit and Tx gun owners posts, and even newspaper articles. You rip off hundreds if not thousands of customers and your reputation will take a hit. My biggest issue was they took all the useable parts from the pre-sold complete suppressors and built new suppressors with the pre-sold cores and unsold tubes and then shipped the form3 registered tubes to the buyers who got suckered into pre paying for complete suppressors. The "new" suppressors bought $250+-ea at auction. Fuck Paul Russ. |

And paying face value for a gift card to a place that has never met a deadline is even crazier. I'd pay 30 bucks for the card, in the off chance that something came of it. Kinda like buying 30 bucks in lotto tickets. Those cards must be the ones that Paul said he would include for the guys that didn't cancel their orders. The 2025 delivery is probably one of the biggest lines of BS yet. Dude can't cline an upper of an existing design in under 2 years, but he will have a whole new MG ready for delivery in 8 months... he must be working with BSD fab |

Maybe record him if you live in a 1 party state and ask some real questions for us. On a side not about showing up with a sheriff, not much they can do since it’d be a civil matter. For anything involving defrauding or criminal business practices there has to be intent or there’s like no shop and everything he’s posted is photoshopped AI generated etc… I don’t think that would be necessary. Barrels are shipping…just not on the timeline we all would like. As for LE involvement…pretty sure over $1k is grand larceny but not sure in VA. Like I said though….coming from a guy who waited 6 years for the KAC Lunchbox set I’m not too worried. |

I won't be ashamed to admit it, but I've had a Ciener-style belt-fed myself for which I've been relentlessly delayed with a gunsmith on to finish the lower's milling for almost a year now (as well as some attachment accessories)...however, I'm just a 1-person effort doing this on my own free time, and here we have all these various products, from belt-fed 5.56s & .308s to repro H&K parts, all supposed to be the fruits of a business fulfilling "millions of dollars" worth of contracts per their own mouth, and yet paid or deposited orders have been delayed for reportedly a year, if not more... Seeing the guy refund people at will as well as literally gift the above user with a free 80% definitely should absolve the man's reputation of being a 'scammer' or just being a shill seller, but it doesn't remove either the low-probability suspicion that he's running a Ponzi scheme to cover overhead production costs, or that with his slow progress one may (and should) easily call into question his quality control over his products, or his own acclaim that he's running operations rivaling DSArms... |
