Looking for a second PS90 for my son and came across this unit with a purported ring sight. Problem is that I could not see any reticle. I know the white reticle units are hard to see, but I saw nothing at all. Thoughts?Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Looks like it is made by the Ring Sights company out of the UK and I believe brought in by Strike Industries. I don't know if they ever made factory units but they are close but they are not cheap. A few companies still sell them, finding one is like finding hen's teeth. From what I have seen, they are overseas and price is around $400 lbs or about $800 US. Ebay has a couple for around $450 used. Amazon has an illuminator for it, REM T3, in order to change the color to something you can actually see due to the white being about worthless. The illuminators sell for about $36. How well they work I don't know. You might not be able to see the reticle, due to low light and the illuminator will fix it, if that is all it is. FN did make black ring sights that were easier to see compared to the white and you might be able to get one but again, you will pay bigly. I feel your pain as my PS90 and the rail they now put with the carbines, has such a high bore to sight ratio, I have to adjust my aim with a standard optic mounted. |

Looks 'genuine' to me, but those originals sucked for lots of reasons. The new ones are better, although some think they still suck, usually because they're so small. Regardless, the new ones are battery operated and aluminum. |
