I've got a POF A3 retractable stock I sometimes mount to my omega MP5. I've noticed that when the stock is fully extended, the end plate/end cap will pivot slightly and rock up and down along the push pin. Is this normal, or is something out of spec?

Yes, normal. Some (most?) HK and clones wobble in various places.

I just shimmed my SP5K that had some ridiculous vertical play in the trigger housing with some 1/32” self-adhesive foam tape.
