Seeking assistance identifying what model velocity systems pack this is. Generally ALICE-style in design with three large vertical external pockets and a lid but much smaller and built as a modular molle pack. Dry bag-style main compartment closure with an elastic band inside the lid to stabilize tall or outsized equipment.     Thanks |

That Is not a rucksack but a buttpack. The original design Is the Eagle Industries Recon Buttpack made in the late 90s, which was copied by blackhawk as the Lrrp buttpack. These were still made to be mounted to alice belts. When molle became a thing these were upgraded with molle attachments and the Eagle one was also issued in some early Navy Seals and special forces kits, circa 2002 to 2008, meant to be mounted to a hefty molle h harness that was also part of the kit. Why velocity systems made these too Is beyond my knowledge tho. Maybe to fulfill some orders as i would Say It Is not a popular enough design to be made for civilians sale, as surplus too was very cheap. |

You're right- it is a dead ringer knockoff of the Eagle Industries buttpack in the you tube video linked below:  The Bag Everyone Wants - Eagle Industries Butt Pack, General Purpose Fully packed, it would be massive as a buttpack and attached to a plate carrier. Not sure how I'd really want to use this one. |
