| Picked up the lower yesterday and assembled the generic AR parts. Only small issue I had was some of the finish was blocking some of the front take down points spring hole. I just took a small drill bit and gently removed it since it got pushed into the hole. Once that was done, everything went together well with the KAK LPK I bought. Just need to pick out the trigger and wait on the bolt hold open and it’ll be perfect. |
I equate GD as the Westboro Baptist Church of arfcom: fun to mess with on occasion, full of ignorant bastards, and they always try to turn a good thing into something bad.

I honestly wouldn’t even have noticed them if it wasn’t for this thread. Just happy to have them and looking forward to building them out. |

Ryan Its cosmetic and something no one will notice unless they look but I do understand wanting the finished receiver to look perfect. For most of these spots an updated finish pass in the gcode should suffice. |

Built mine last night. Went together really well, although there's not really that many steps after you leave out the bolt catch, trigger guard, mag button, etc. Really, you hardly use any of a LPK, since I had my own trigger and also using different pivot/takedown pins. Is it a standard in lowers now for the takedown pin buffer to be threaded? Or is this just another sign of the excellent quality and attention to detail in an Inoculum product? I was trying to thread yours again  . I guess I should have known since the Aero parts kit includes the tiny screw for it, that it must be getting common.Looking forward to shooting it soon. And having the bolt catch. Keep up the good work! |

And having the bolt catch. Keep up the good work! Yes it is threaded! We wanted to do the catches as well, but I have had issues with those backing out, and also the cost involved. Should have an update on the catches in the next few days with a decent timeline. The original 17-4 we were not all that happy with, so the switch to 8620 created even more time to finished product. Will be worth it though! The catches truly finish the lower as something cool! |

Nope! Talked to shop this morning, they said it would be first of next week before they are out of Ano process. I need to just start taking the initial timeline I am given, and add 4 weeks. I get it though, everyone is backed up. We just had some rails done, and they were at Anodizing for 4 weeks total. Avg for these guys was two weeks at the beginning of the year. How many outstanding vouchers are there? My order has been skipped by ~30 order numbers. I am really hoping the voucher guys who were actually going to buy a lower receiver have purchased by now. But there may still be Voucher+Order guys coming up, and I understand why they get priority. I'm just antsy; I haven't been this excited about a new gun since my first NFA purchase. |

If you were a non voucher purchase, then yes, all the voucher folks are going to get fulfilled before outright orders. I feel like that is only fair, and some of them may have order numbers beyond yours. ETA: 85 outstanding vouchers including some that have not been claimed. This next batch of receivers will cover shipment of 98% of the vouchers. |

Ryan Seems the be the struggle everywhere, finding quality components and work is tough, if it takes a little longer to obtain that then so be it. My RPD goes pew just fine on the poverty pony it’s resting on; ugly as all get out, but does what it’s supposed to  |

I have contacted well over 30 machine shops in the last few months, and most of them don't even respond. Material prices are high right now as well.... And don't get me started on the price of hardware! LOL Anyhow, we press forward! |
