I have one of the Chinese 300 BAR water cooled contraptions that is one of the scariest things to operate that I own, takes ice baths, oil changes, filters to fill my two SCBA Scott tanks and small Air Venturi tank. Its not worth it to just fill up a gun. With the three tanks I cascade a fill and it makes for a fun day of shooting. What are you all using? I'm looking at the Air Venturi RovAir 4500. @Phillbilly current stable - Marauder .22, Avenger .22, Avenger .25, Vulcan 3 .25 |

I have a rovair 4500. It's not really made to fill scba tanks, but I do use to to top up mine. I run it ten minutes, let it cool ten when I'm able to baby sit it in the garage. I mainly fill my Benjamin Cayden to 3000 from the 4500psi tank and my FX Impact to 3600 direct from the compressor. It works great for direct filling the guns though. |

I have the Air Venturi compressor. It is the same as the one in the link below, but wasn't called the Krypton when I purchased mine. Air Venturi Krypton |

GX has a variety of options. Pretty good reputation. I have a E-L2. I haven't filled from a tank for a couple of years. Pick how much you want to spend based on if you want to fill big or small tanks, or just guns. I like the form factor so much I bought a second one just in case the first one dies. Been a very reliable option for me. Couple hundred shots a day, most days of the week during the summer... 30ish shots a fill. |
