My last three cans were 2 day, 2 day and 3 day aprovals.
One was after January 1st. Sent in a form 1 for an sbr on Feb 6th and still nothing. I am sad...

Waiting on 3 Form 1's sent in on 2-13-26... wait , wait , wait...

Sent in a form 4 for 3 suppressors in January on the 10th and was approved on Jan. 20th.. SBR's not so quick I see...

It took me about a month and a half to get my sbr form 1s approved.

Wait times are increasing. Someone did some number crunching and submissions of 1/12 are at 41 days.

I have a Form 1 from 1/15 I'm still waiting on.

Last F1 submitted on 1/8 took 51 days. Still waiting on one from 1/30. Last couple of F4s took less than two weeks. All individual with EFT prints. I’m guessing the number of Form 1s far outstripped the number of Form 4s. Imagine people filed multiple Form 1s for everything in their collection.

Have you checked eforms for any issues or status? I assume so, but it never hurts to ask.

ATF eforms never notified me my SBR was approved. Neither did the dealer.....

Based on the big wait time thread, it looks like Form 1s are going particularly slow again

If you got a SBR through a dealer, that’s a Form 4, not a Form 1. The dealer only getting the approval emails has been a Form 4 issue. I haven’t heard of any issues with people getting emails for the Form 1s that they submit, other than possibly a spam or junk folder issue with your provider.

60 days now.

Have several other for SBR from 21 Jan 26

A form 4 suppressor at 38 days.

I'm convinced ATF hates me.

They finally found some love for me yesterday. It’s my third can. The first two were batch approved in 12 days. This one took 6 days. But still no love on my form 1’s.

Do they send an email for issues? Or do you have to keep checking your Eform account?

My 1/18 form1 was approved on Wednesday. I staggered F1 submissions- 1/14, 1/16, 1/18- consistently ~6 weeks + a few days on all of them. Theyre all approved at this point

They’ve stopped signing individual examiner’s names for a year or two now. They all have the generic “authorized NFA division official” stamp now. My F1 from 1/30 finally got approved on 3/27, so pretty much the same time period. Seems 55-60 days is the current norm for Form 1s.

I expect they have different teams working each type of Form. Plus Form 1 submissions have no constraints especially with what people already own or plan to build/print, whereas Form 4 depends on inventory and a purchase.
