The safe has a 3 row/column interior and it doesn't look like the two dividing walls in the middle come out. I am wondering if the factor installed the top self before they mounted the two dividing walls. I can't seem to get enough clearance to remove the top shelf, weird. |

I remedied my combo situation but that's another story. This isn't mine. It's the older style but the interior structure is basically the same. I pulled this down from the internet.

Attached File Mine has a similar set up. The metallic “clips” that hold/support the shelves are removable (circled red). I believe that you can remove the center pieces after you remove all of the shelves, including the top clips (yellow) and shelf. They fit snuggly together, but should all be removable. I took all of my shelves out and replaced with a smaller metal frame to store ammo boxes on. The particle board shelves couldn’t take the weight that the metal frame easily could hold. The left and right exterior walls have two each metal rails that hold the clips. If you want these out, there are short screws to remove from the fire board/Sheetrock behind the felt finish. |
