I'm ready to toss it tonight. Using .005 worth of shims and an o-ring and it is jumping like crazy with the 9mm shell plate. No amount of playing with the pawl screws in 1/32-1/16 adjustments seems to do anything. There is a spot where it doesn't go into position, and a spot where it looks to go past then come back. There is at least a half turn range between that seems to be exactly the same. Every one of those spots the shell plate jumps into the detent holes.

After some more tinkering, I think I got it to where it will work well with 9mm. Spring loaded balls in shell plate don't engage the subplate as much as they probably should, but things seem to be lining up with each station. I'll run some rounds tomorrow. Next potential issue is it only seems to set primers to flush. My Lee bench primer pushed them is further on the couple I tried. I may do a handful at flush and see what happens at the range next weekend. |
